The theme of the warehouse or industrial building was treated so that lighting, structure, curtain wall, materials, colors, and volume bestow character to the architecture. Apart from the building, there are two separate structures of a unique character that house the lobby and restrooms. At the other end, a third structure lodges the cafeteria and features a manifest transparency.

The central building itself expresses a different language. In it, all structural and construction components are emphasized. The metal framework displays the pipelines in their various diameters, as well as the metal sheet reinforcements at the points of greater moment. The column pedestals are elevated from the floor in order to isolate the iron from humidity. During rainfall, a curtain of fine threads of water falls vertically from the roof into the stone ditch. Here water disappears and drains without causing humidity or mud. A covered walkway suspended from the columns runs alongside the building, giving scale to pedestrians.

The self-bearing partitions in concrete block feature columns and beams in relief. Each panel is separated by a full-height window. The skylights in the roof stand out and light passes through the inside of the frames exposing the slim pipes. Illumination by way of skylights and windows is homogeneous throughout the building’s interior, as required for this type of activity. The opaline surface of the acrylic material used for the skylights filters the sunrays, flooding the work areas with soft hues. Despite the abundance of light, there is no glare. The trees, like standing witnesses of the old coffee plantation, create an area of shade and light between the street and the buildings.
